Our Story
South Dakota native Ralph Siemonsma began his construction career in 1973 shortly after graduating from Baltic High School. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Debbie, the couple moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Ralph worked in asphalt and carpentry while attending Allstate Construction College. He later obtained his Florida General Contractor’s License, which he continues to hold today.
In 1990, Ralph and Debbie returned to South Dakota with their three children and settled in Spearfish. There, Ralph continued pursuing his passion for building homes and turning dreams into reality through quality craftsmanship and attention to every detail.
Ralph’s son Jarod Siemonsma joined the family business in 2002. Over the past two decades, Jarod has developed a meticulous eye for detail while mastering every phase of the construction process. Together, they have built a reputation as one of the top homebuilders in Western South Dakota.
Ralph has dedicated more than 50 years to the building industry. Throughout his career, he has served as an officer for state and local Home Builder Associations and as a Director for the National Association of Home Builders. In recognition of his leadership and contributions to the industry, Ralph was inducted into the South Dakota Home Builders Hall of Fame in 2013. Jarod joined the Black Hills Home Builders Association in 2010, continuing the family tradition of excellence in construction
